The present Textr Go Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy” or the “Textr Go Policy”) shall set forth the terms and conditions upon which users may use and access the Textr Go product, an application developed and created by Textr, Inc. The Textr Go product is offered and provided as an application on iOS, Android and as a web app. It may be accessed on a desktop or a mobile device.
For interpretation purposes, in this Policy, the Textr Go product shall be referred to as the “Textr Go product”, “Textr Go”, or the “App”. In this Policy, users of the Textr Go product shall be referred to as “Users”. For the avoidance of doubt, Users shall include both paying and non-paying Users.
The present Policy must be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions applicable to the usage of the Company’s website, https://textrapp.com/ and its corresponding web and mobile applications (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). Such Terms and Conditions shall remain fully binding and applicable to the usage of the Textr Go product, unless otherwise stated herein. Any capitalized terms in this Textr Go Policy that are not defined herein shall have the meanings attributed to them in the Terms and Conditions. In case of any discrepancy or contradiction between the present Textr Go Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the present Policy shall prevail as it is more specific with regard to the Textr Go product.
1. Textr Go Product
The Textr Go product consists of a mobile and web application operating as a freemium calling and texting platform. It is intended to facilitate customer to customer (C2C) communications and exchanges.
Users of the Textr Go product may be attributed a phone number, at no charge, upon their download and subsequent usage of the Textr Go product, provided such users meet the eligibility criteria. Users may also elect to purchase one (1) or more phone numbers, including secondary phone numbers, on and by way of the Textr Go product.
Further, users of the Textr Go product may subscribe to a monthly plan in connection with their acquired, purchased or assigned phone number, thereby granting a predetermined number of text messages, calling minutes and other features, depending on the monthly plan selected, as more amply described in this Policy. Monthly plans and options may be purchased by users by way of “coins”, available for purchase on the Textr Go application.

2. Monthly Plans
The Company offers a variety of monthly plans that may be applied to a phone number attributed to or purchased by the User on the Textr Go application. To benefit from a phone number and a monthly plan, Users shall create an account on the App. Following the successful creation of an account and assignment of a phone number, the User may then benefit from calling and texting features. Users may upgrade their monthly plan at any time to benefit from increased usage and greater features.
Monthly plans may be purchased by following the instructions set forth on the App, subject to the payment of coins as provided in this Policy. Unless otherwise stated, the plan shall be paid by the User to the Company on a monthly basis.
Eligible Users may be provided with a Canadian or American phone number free of charge on the App (the “Free Number”), upon purchasing a monthly plan. In such cases, the receiving User shall be granted a certain amount of calling minutes and text messages per month, which may also be free of charge. If a User is not eligible for the Free Number, the User shall be required to purchase a phone number as well as a monthly plan. The Company shall not offer free usage in connection with a paid phone number.
3. Payments and Coins
All fees in connection with the monthly plans shall be paid using “coins” on the Textr Go product. Coins may be purchased on the Text Go product at the price specified thereon. The purchase of coins by Users may be performed at any time by following the instructions specified on the Textr Go product.
The amount payable to acquire coins shall be detailed on the Textr Go product, and shall depend on the number of coins to purchase. Monthly plans and features shall be subject to the payment of fees, payable by way of coins acquired from the App.
Unless otherwise explicitly specified, coins purchased on the Textr Go product shall be valid and usable within one (1) year. After which, the coins shall expire, and may not be used to complete purchases on the App. Any coins assigned to Users free of charge shall expire thirty (30) days following the date of their assignment to the relevant User. Following the thirty (30) day delay, such coins shall no be longer be valid and may not be used against purchases on Textr Go. Users may be granted coins after watching advertisements on Textr Go or after executing specific ad-related offers. Such coins acquired in connection with advertisements shall expire within one (1) year. All coins acquired on the App shall be non-transferable and non-refundable. They may not be exchanged for money.
4. Fair Usage
Each plan includes a predetermined allowance of outbound calling minutes and text messages (SMS and/or MMS), as specified in the applicable plan details. Any unused allowances at the end of a billing cycle shall not carry over to the following period.
Usage that exceeds a plan's allowance shall be subject to additional charges, payable using coins on Textr Go. Excess usage shall be charged at the rates applicable to the relevant plan or, for international calling and texting, at the international rates established by the Company. Such international rates shall vary depending on the destination.
Inbound SMS and inbound calls are included under all plans and shall not be subject to additional charges, unless otherwise stated in the applicable plan details. All plans include unlimited photo history and voicemail storage. No plan supports emergency calls.
The Company reserves the right to modify the allowances, rates, and terms applicable to any plan at any time. Users are encouraged to review the applicable plan details and international rates available on Textr Go prior to use.
5. Company’s Rights
The Company reserves the right to reclaim any inactivated phone number on an ongoing basis. As such, if a phone number assigned to a User or purchased by a User has not been activated within thirty (30) days, the Company shall reclaim such phone number, without liability or refund to the User. Any User whose phone number has been reclaimed may apply for a new phone number thereafter, if eligible to do so.
6. Advertisements
Users acknowledge that the Textr Go product may be supported by advertising revenue. The Company may collect data and location data from Users, on an anonymous basis. Such data may be used to present specific advertisements to targeted Users or Users residing in a specific location.
As such, Users of the App agree and understand that advertisements and promotions emanating from third party providers may be featured or otherwise displayed on Textr Go. Users further acknowledge that to access certain content or features on Textr Go, they may need to view advertisements prior thereto.
7. Updates
The Company reserves the right to make updates to this Policy and to the Fair Usage terms, at any time. Any updates to this Policy and to Fair Usage terms shall be published on the Textr Go product. Users shall be responsible for reviewing this Policy periodically to keep up to date with the latest updates to the Fair Usage provisions.
