Las Vegas might be best known for its casinos, but the Vegas Pool Parties are rising in popularity and no trip to Vegas is complete without experiencing one! In this article, We'll show you the best day clubs in the city, give you some tips on what to expect, and help you get ready for your adventure. So, let's begin and make sure you have an amazing time in Sin City!

The Best Day Club in Vegas

The concept of a pool party shouldn’t need much explanation. A Las Vegas pool party is basically everything you’d expect from a Vegas nightclub, except during the day and in a pool. They offer DJs, dancing, drinks, and much more, all from the pool.

A great pool party is defined by plenty of places to relax and dance, a good range of drinks, and some excellent music. While these are somewhat subjective, some parties are well known for being amazing.

The top 5 are:

1. Wet Republic Pool Party Vegas, held at the MGM Grand. It includes both saltwater and normal pools.

2. Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan. It’s held across multiple levels and even includes a rooftop pool.

3. Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas. It’s a beach-themed party, meaning cabanas, multiple pools, and lots of music.

4. Drai’s Beachclub at the Cromwell Hotel. It’s a hip-hop focused party, whereas many others are dance music.

5. Daylight Beach Club, held at Mandalay Bay. It has a 4,400 sq. ft. pool and various Latin and salsa parties.

There’s quite a lot of variation within the idea of a Vegas pool party. Make sure you check out all the options to find one that aligns with your music taste and party ideas.

What to Expect at a Party Pool Las Vegas

Excited for your Vegas pool party adventure?  We know it can be daunting to head to one for the first time. Don't worry, we've got you covered with some answers to the common questions and help you prepare for the ultimate party experience

How Much is Admission?

The price will often be dictated by the size of the party and the acts playing. For example, at the Wet Republic Pool Party Vegas, entry is $50 for men and $30 for women.

When you arrive at Las Vegas party pools, it's common to pay a cover charge at the entrance. Admission can range from $30 to $150 depending on the party, also men should expect to pay more. Keep in mind that for holiday events and special performances, the cost of the cover charge may be higher than usual. But hey, it's all part of the Vegas experience!

Here are the cover charges for some of the best pool parties or day clubs in Las Vegas.

Cover Charges / Entrance Fees Wet Republic Marquee Dayclub Encore Beach Club Drai’s Beachclub Daylight Beach Club
Females $20 - $75 $20 $50 $20 - $50 $20
Males $30 - $100 $40 $60 $30 - $75 $30

Is there a Dress Code?

Las Vegas Pool Party Dress Code

When it comes to pool party attire, the essential part of your outfit should be swimwear – a bikini for women and shorts for men. See-through swimwear is banned.

You might feel a little self-conscious walking through the hotel or waiting for your rideshare in just your bikini or swim trunks. But don't worry, you don't have to! You're more than welcome to throw on a shirt, cover-up, or shorts over your swimwear. However it's best to avoid athletic wear like sports jerseys, cargo shorts, jeans and long pants, as they're usually not allowed.

There are usually rules around shoes, too. It’s acceptable for you to wear trendy flip-flops, while women can usually wear wedges, hard-soled shoes are banned.

Of course, each party has its own specific dress code, so be sure to check it out before you go. You don't want to be turned away at the door, after all!

What to Bring to a Pool Party

Before you head to the pool party, keep in mind that all bags will be searched at the entrance. The staff is pretty strict, so be sure to only bring your essentials. They won't allow any liquids (including sunscreen!), pills, or other items they consider to be contraband, so it's best to leave those at the hotel. We recommend bringing a waterproof mini bag or clutch to store your must-haves like your phone and credit card.

Many pool venues offer lockers for your convenience, but expect to pay around $50 and wait in line to access your unit. Also, if your bag is too big, you may be asked to check it for around $10 per bag, but you won't be able to access it throughout the day. For example, at Wet Republic, bag size should not exceed larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″. Check the club's regulations in advance before you visit to make sure.

Besides, you don’t need to bring a towel – you’ll have one provided at the party. Also, don’t bring wearable tech (smartwatch) or selfie sticks.

How Much Do Drinks Cost?

Drink prices at dayclubs in Vegas can be pretty steep, so just a heads up. Don't be surprised if you see a hard seltzer for $15 or shots at the same price, while everything else costs at least $20. While it's definitely not cheap, you're in Vegas, so treat yourself!

Vegas Pool Party Schedule 2023

The pool party schedule usually kicks off in April and lasts for a few months. There are almost too many parties to list, so it’s worth checking out sites that list them by music type and venue

The bottom line is that there should be a pool party to suit any music taste or partying style. Make sure you check out a full schedule to narrow down your options before booking.

Las Vegas Pools Open Year Round

Unsurprisingly, much of the Vegas pool party schedule happens in the summer. But even if you plan to visit Vegas and don’t want to party, it’s also worth noting that not all pools at hotels are open year-round.

If swimming and relaxing by the pool is an important part of your Las Vegas experience, here are some of the ones that are open all year:

·  Bellagio Hotel. The 2 large pools are heated in the winter.

·  MGM Grand has a heated pool in the winter.

·  Palazzo/Venetian Hotel has a heated pool in the winter.

·  Resorts World. One of the newest additions to the Strip, all the pools here remain open during the off-season.

There are plenty of other complexes that keep pools open during the winter. However, as you can see, most places will only have one pool open. This is to help cut down on heating and maintenance costs and allows them to work on the other pools. It’s usually a lot quieter in the winter though, so you shouldn’t have to fight for space at the pool.
